Surpassing 2,627 contestants from various universities, academies, and educational institutions across the country, Vu Manh Kien, a student from class K66NNT2 majoring in Chinese Language at the Secondment for International Education (SIE) of Thuy Loi University, successfully secured a place in the Top 30 finalists of the “2026 Chinese Language Path” competition and won the Consolation Prize overall. The “2026 Chinese Language Path” competition is a prestigious playground for Chinese language enthusiasts, co-organized by the Sunwah Foundation, the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and ChineseRd. This year, the competition attracted a large number of participants nationwide, creating a vibrant environment for exchange, learning, and language proficiency demonstration.
At the final round held on June 6, 2026, the contestants competed by performing literary works, poetry, and culturally rich content. With thorough preparation, confidence, and a special passion for the Chinese language, Vu Manh Kien successfully completed his performance to bring home the Consolation Prize. Although modest, this achievement is a highly remarkable result for a student participating in a national-scale academic competition for the first time, while clearly demonstrating the proactive spirit of learning, integration, and continuous effort of Thuy Loi University students.
