On the morning of May 7, at Hall T45, Thuyloi University solemnly held the Graduation Ceremony and awarded engineering and bachelor’s degrees for the second phase of the 2025–2026 academic year to 648 new engineers and bachelors after their journey of studying and training at this tradition-rich institution.

In the historic atmosphere of May, as the echoes of the Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day on April 30 and International Workers’ Day on May 1 still linger, the ceremony took place in a formal and moving manner, marking a significant milestone for the new graduates on their path of establishing themselves, building careers, and contributing to society.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Hue, Secretary of the University Party Committee; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Viet, Rector of the University, along with representatives of the Party Committee, the Board of Rectors, leaders of various units, lecturers, parents, and a large number of students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Viet extended his congratulations to the new engineers and bachelors for completing their academic journey with a mix of emotions. The Rector emphasized that a degree is not an endpoint but the beginning of a new journey, where each student must continue lifelong learning, nurturing a spirit of innovation, integration capabilities, and a responsibility to serve the community.
The Training Department reports that the University currently offers 77 majors and training programs at various levels, with a scale of more than 23,000 students, trainees, and PhD candidates across the entire system. In the first semester of the 2025–2026 academic year alone, the University awarded degrees to 1,886 engineers and bachelors, of whom 648 were awarded degrees today.

Notably, among the students graduating in this phase, 164 students were commended for their outstanding academic and training achievements, including 7 students ranked as Excellent and 28 students ranked as Very Good. Many typical faces were honored for their prominent academic results, active participation in scientific research, movement activities, and innovative entrepreneurship.
Not only a day of joy for the new graduates, but the ceremony was also an occasion to express gratitude to families and teachers—those who have always accompanied, encouraged, and empowered the students throughout their academic journey. Hugs, bouquets, and emotional tears created many meaningful moments on graduation day.
Through nearly 70 years of construction and development, Thuyloi University continues to affirm its position as a prestigious higher education institution, training high-quality human resources for the country in the fields of engineering, technology, economics, and management. From this school, many generations of engineers and bachelors have been and are actively contributing to the development of the homeland and the country in the era of innovation and integration.
